In the Spring of 2012 a team of 10 students and a trip facilitator from the University of Calgary traveled to Haiti to assist in the planning phases of a technical college, volunteers home, and surrounding infrastructure. Butler Survey Supplies Ltd. was a sponsor, providing survey equipment and training.
