Most importantly, the skill level of their field services stopped at surveying, and their engineering skills to understand what the screen says were limited. I have been able to utilize the system as a dynamic QA/QC tool and that allows me to check all drawings, find errors, recommend field fits, generate new files, and not miss a beat. I was a first time GPS user and I found Leica 3D machine control very easy to use. We are able to achieve 1 to 2 cm accuracy on our John Deere grader. The service from Butler Survey Supplies is phenomenal. If they can't talk me through a problem, they come out to the job site.

Safety is one of the major benefits of this Leica 2D machine control system. I don't have to get in and out of the excavator and down into the hole, which reduces risk. The Leica system also increases accuracy and production.
